Advisory Board Meeting
18th Edition of the ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium
On the 4th of December 2018, the Advisory Board Meeting of the 18th ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium took place. Earlier editions of the event took place under the name “ICT and Media World Symposium”. The rebranding which took place is a reflection of the changes on the market towards Digital Industry.
Members of the advisory Board, under the leadership of the Co-Chairmen of the Board: President Piotr Muszyński and President Przemysław Kurczewski, made sure that all key changes upcoming to the economy were found in the agenda of the 18th edition of the Congress. The main topic on the agenda was Economy 4.0. With the slogan “The sky is the limit”, debates will be taking place on the future of the digital market in the perspective of 5, 10 and 20 years. During the discussions of the international experts, it was unanimously decided that cloud infrastructure is one of the more important foundations on which it’s worth building an innovative strategy in business. This topic is a obligatory part of the spring edition. There will also be the topic of 5G network implementation, which will also be presented from the side of governmental strategy. It will definitely be a Congress which will not be limited to ICT and infrastructure, but will touch on technological innovation topics from a wider perspective of other sectors: energy and the automotive sector.
The event will be a platform for finding answers to the current important topics, including: are we ready for market transformation to the digital era? From the level of economy 4.0, we’ll look at modern technologies such as AI, blockchain, virtual reality, autonomous vehicles and production automation.
