The official opening of the Congress was made by Piotr Muszyński, Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board, Founder & President of FixMap, on behalf of himself and the other two Co-Chairmen: Jacek Niewęgłowski, Senior Advisor, P4 and Przemysław Kurczewski, Member of the Supervisory Board of Emitel. The Special Guest who gave the keynote speech was Emanuele Procaccioli, Communications, Media & Technology Managing Director, Accenture. There were then debates, presentations, speeches and case studies on topics constituting the pillar of Economy 4.0. As part of the agenda of the ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium, 5G could not be missing. The fifth generation network is to completely change the digital world of business and this is what the debate touched on, ran by Bogusław Chrabota, Editor-in-Chief of Rzeczpospolita. How can we fully use this potential? How can the construction of this network in Poland be sped up? What are the main factors to pay attention to when implementing 5G? All these questions were a field for discussion about the revolution in the wireless world. Participants also had the opportunity to listen to talks about migration of business and administration to the cloud. The creation of infrastructure for Economy 4.0 is a challenge that the experts at the event debated over. POPC (eng. Digital Poland Operational Program) is another issue without which it is difficult to think about the current transformation of the entire economy. Building services on optical fibers is a solution that will strengthen the digital foundation for the socio-economic development of the country. The way in which the Digital Poland Operational Program is evaluated and what the plans are for the future could be heard during the debate on this subject. A dynamic, inspiring element of the ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium were the short presentations that allowed the participants to see new technologies and solutions such as AI or automobiles from the perspective of the transformation of the economy to phase 4.0. There were also more general questions, such as “Are we ready for transformation?”, which was the slogan of the entire panel as part of the event.
